Sun’s out guns out, everyone! Spring finally seems as if it might be here to stay. Just in time for this fantastic warm weather we’ve been having I was given the opportunity to write a review for eShakti; a company I had not yet heard of before Suz graced her blog in one of their gorgeous dresses a couple months ago.
When they reached out to me I was over the moon. And then when I followed the link to browse which piece I wanted to try I was over the…whelmed. I filtered the selections down by color and style and still so many pretty clothes to choose from. When spring rolls around I’m a sundress kind of gal becaise I like to feel a little fancy while I’m grocery shopping. eShakti has literally pages upon pages of sundresses in a wide variety of fabric choices, each available in size 0 to 36 and with the ability to customize them in a number of different ways for the very reasonable price of $7.50. This includes (but is not limited to) skirt length, sleeve type, and neck line.
The same dress so many different ways! Pretty amazing right?
If you want to get even more specific with your request you can go completely rogue, send them all your measurements and have the dress tailored exactly to your figure. From their website: “eShakti believes that all women have the right to wear affordable fashion that is made for them and makes them look their absolute best.”
The dress I chose may look a little familiar because it appeared on my blog yesterday!
I adore everything about it! It is 100% cotton with the most adorable orange floral embroidery, fully lined, and it has POCKETS which I easily could have opted out of, but figured that not nearly enough of my dresses have them. Pockets are even more convenient now that I have a precious small person who is constantly handing me small toys and other items to hold on to for her. And another huge bonus?
IT’S MACHINE WASHABLE.
I know that probably doesn’t sound like a big deal to some people, but most of my nicest dresses are dry clean only which I consider to be endlessly inconvenient. Not only does precious small person constantly hand me things to hold on to for her, but she’s also frequently hugging me with food all over her hands and face. I appreciate that as classy and cute as this dress is, it can also go straight in the wash after I get as many hugs as I want.
I wore it to Easter dinner and got loads of compliments.
There are a couple big things happening on eShakti right now. They are currently having a spring sale (that unfortunately ends TODAY) and you can find up to 40% off site-wide. Also if you are new to eShakti and register today, you will receive a gift coupon for $40 off your first order (some conditions apply to this, but they are nothing crazy or unreasonable.)
So basically I have some shopping to do.
Also today I have a winner for my CordSkinz giveaway!
YAY Maddie!! She’s awesome and her blog is really great. I’ll be emailing in a few to get the details of where I can send this prize.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday!
