Merry Fitness Giveaway! I feel like Oprah!

Little change of plans! Today you were going to be reading all about my BFF’s first race experience, but suddenly we are getting hit with this brand new, school closing snowstorm and she is a little tied up with that. So without further ado, I’m moving on to the giveaway that I had planned for tomorrow. This works out well anyway because it gives everyone an extra day to enter.

Now that we’re all straightened out…on to the fun stuff!!

oprah

With the holidays in full swing, I couldn’t think of a better time to host my first giveaway. The weather is growing ever colder – and in some places ever snowier – plus some of us have a holiday party or nine to attend and there are tasty foods and drinks all around…basically it’s a recipe for fitness apathy, albeit a delicious one. I’m not saying that we all need a little more motivation this time of year, but I know I sure do. Hence why I’m doing the Run Streak.
Today I’m pleased to be giving away a prize that hopefully will motivate whoever wins it to stick with their healthy goals through the holidays and into the new year!
iBodyFit offers workouts, all kinds of videos (even yoga! YAY!), diet plans, trackers, and personal training online so you never even need to leave your house in crummy weather in order to work on your fitness. I am pleased to offer one of my readers an Online Personal Training and Diet Plan from this awesome site! You will receive one-on-one attention from your iBodyFit trainer who will customize a plan just for you and help your toward your healthy goals. (Valued at $99.)
I will also throw in a pair of awesome Sweat Pink shoelaces that you can wear while you workout! Because if I’ve learned anything lately, it’s that fitness is more fun when you have pink shoelaces on. And also that Pete on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is a cat. WHO KNEW?
Now some very merry deets:
MANDATORY ENTRY: Tell me in the comments below why you would like to win and what your fitness goals are for 2014. I love hearing about people’s goals!
You can also score some additional entries by doing any one of the following things (please let me know in your comment!):
    • Subscribe to my blog by email! It’s super easy to do this. See that widget on the right where it says “Subscribe by email”? There ya go! (5 entries…woah)
    • “Like” Run Salt Run on Facebook (1 entry)
    • Follow me on Twitter (1 entry)
    • Retweet my giveaway over there (2 entries)

I set up a Rafflecopter link below in the hopes that I could make this easier on everyone. If the Rafflecopter doesn’t work for you, please let me know in your comment. (I have problems with them sometimes and I cannot for the life of me get the widget to work on my blog today.)

MERRY FITNESS GIVEAWAY!

This contest ends next Tuesday (December 17) at 5pm and the winner will be announced the following day. This giveaway is restricted to US residents. Oprah photo courtesy of Google.

Good luck to everyone that enters and thank YOU for reading and for just being generally awesome.

I am not a long term fitness junky LOL I am actually a former smoker of 20 years and I have lost 50 pounds in the last 2 years! I now run daily, anywhere from 5-6 miles about 5 times a week (not bad for a former smoker 🙂 ) I do however still need guidance and help! This would be very cool to have for the beginning of the new year! I hope to lose another 10 pounds and become stronger inside and out! Thanks 🙂

I would love to win this! What a great way to start out 2014. Plus, I could use some help in meeting my goals. (Running, working out, and being an overall healthier version of myself.)

I love this giveaway! I’ve been in a bit of slump lately, and am in need of something to rev up my weight loss & healthy living in 2014 🙂

I’d love to win this! Talk about motivation! (Especially those pink laces.) I’m getting back into running after some health setbacks including a large patent foramen ovale (ie giant hole in my heart) that made me put on some serious poundage and originally stopped my marathon training 3 years ago. I’m getting back in the saddle and any little bit of motivation helps when I’m at 10 minute miles instead of my usual 6:30s!

Fun Giveaway! I love the excitement and motivation people feel this year to make changes in their health and fitness. It’s awesome that you’re giving away a prize to do that!

What an awesome giveaway and blog! I thought I was following already, but now I definitely am. I would love to win because I really need to get back in shape and refocused on my health and fitness. My goals for 2014 are to do just that — focus on being fit and healthy, plus committed to eating well.

I would love to win this since I’m trying to improve my running and overall fitness! I completed two half marathons in 2013, and while my time did improve over the first one, I wasn’t happy with it. Goals for 2014 are to continue on the healthy eating wagon and also increase my cardiac fitness, run longer, and run faster!

  8. Theresa says:

It’s on my 30 Before 30 list to run a half marathon, so that’s the top of my fitness goals. Also – to do a race with you!

Great giveaway – I have all of the entry criteria (subscribe, follow, etc) … but I am not ‘entering’. I won’t get the use from it so give it to someone else deserving. Just wanted to say congrats on first giveaway (and agree on the humor of the ‘not really me’ )

I would like to win because I have hit a bad plateau. My goals are to be more flexible and to get a six pack in 2014.Thanks for the giveaway.
