Merry Fitness Giveaway! I feel like Oprah!

Little change of plans! Today you were going to be reading all about my BFF’s first race experience, but suddenly we are getting hit with this brand new, school closing snowstorm and she is a little tied up with that. So without further ado, I’m moving on to the giveaway that I had planned for tomorrow. This works out well anyway because it gives everyone an extra day to enter.

Now that we’re all straightened out…on to the fun stuff!!


With the holidays in full swing, I couldn’t think of a better time to host my first giveaway. The weather is growing ever colder – and in some places ever snowier – plus some of us have a holiday party or nine to attend and there are tasty foods and drinks all around…basically it’s a recipe for fitness apathy, albeit a delicious one. I’m not saying that we all need a little more motivation this time of year, but I know I sure do. Hence why I’m doing the Run Streak.
Today I’m pleased to be giving away a prize that hopefully will motivate whoever wins it to stick with their healthy goals through the holidays and into the new year!

    I am not a long term fitness junky LOL I am actually a former smoker of 20 years and I have lost 50 pounds in the last 2 years! I now run daily, anywhere from 5-6 miles about 5 times a week (not bad for a former smoker 🙂 ) I do however still need guidance and help! This would be very cool to have for the beginning of the new year! I hope to lose another 10 pounds and become stronger inside and out! Thanks 🙂

    I’d love to win this! Talk about motivation! (Especially those pink laces.) I’m getting back into running after some health setbacks including a large patent foramen ovale (ie giant hole in my heart) that made me put on some serious poundage and originally stopped my marathon training 3 years ago. I’m getting back in the saddle and any little bit of motivation helps when I’m at 10 minute miles instead of my usual 6:30s!

    What an awesome giveaway and blog! I thought I was following already, but now I definitely am. I would love to win because I really need to get back in shape and refocused on my health and fitness. My goals for 2014 are to do just that — focus on being fit and healthy, plus committed to eating well.

    I would love to win this since I’m trying to improve my running and overall fitness! I completed two half marathons in 2013, and while my time did improve over the first one, I wasn’t happy with it. Goals for 2014 are to continue on the healthy eating wagon and also increase my cardiac fitness, run longer, and run faster!
