Wednesday in a few words: Trick or Treat!

The other day I talked about the making of my daughter’s Halloween costume here.

I’m so pleased to announce that it is even cuter on her than it was on the floor!

Over the weekend we had two opportunities to get dressed up and both times it was a big hit! So much so that she won a contest for most original costume in her age group at the Zoo’s Halloween party! She was quite pleased with her loot: an adorable elephant stuffie, a fun new cup, and bubbles!

I’m so proud of her! And maybe just a little proud of me too.

Tomorrow night we trick or treat and I’m so excited! I took her around to a few houses last year, but she was too young to really know what was going on. This year is more of the real deal. I hope she loves it as much as I did when I was a kid.

Will you be doing any trick or treating this year? Do you have candy at your house yet? Are you eating it all like I am?

Ugh, she is too cute for words. Seriously. Well done on the costume momma!

My first mistake, bringing candy into my house before halloween. My second mistake purchasing more last week, before Halloween. We better get a lot of kids tomorrow because I’m purchasing another bag. And I haven’t been working out at all. #epicfail

OMG my heart just melted … she is totally adorable and that really is a great costume! It makes me miss when my kids were little and looked so adorable on Halloween … I know I’ll have one Doctor Who and the other as a ‘mobster’. It is still fun – just very different than when they were young …

I want to hear from YOU!
